One more ,have some patience .!

When the contractor gives a list of items required, have some patience to go through, ask questions for learning and understanding, cost, quantity, brand, purpose etc and also to show the contractor, we are serious about it and interested in the job. We can also go with him and look at the items before purchasing. No doubt the contractor gets his due commission. But we can ask for some discounts from MRP. Y day I went with the carpenter to buy Mica - lamination sheet, Adhesive two types, Glass. Initially carpenter did not give list of items when I asked for. When we went he ordered the items, I was surprised to see Fevicol qty was 500 gms, when questioned, he said " ok sir, 250 gms, after finishing the job, half the quantity was only used, rest kept aside. Lamination sheet only 50 % only used, so also Araldite adhesive. Can imagine the wastage. Since paati knows some job is going on here, she asked me to spare Lamination sheet and Araldite. So gifted to her. We need to be careful in such things to save. We should be clever and smart. Sharing for future guidance.

We know ,but we don't do it due to various factors ,at the end we loose heavily .What are they .

Doors and cupboards - - > Put oil at joints and locks for lubrication > Close the doors ,Windows and cupboards by licking all the locks ,padlock ,books both the sides to prevent buckling and bent of wood. > Keep air right of unused chemicals ,paints ,adhesive ,thinner from evaporation and strength .Preserve properly > To buy only right / branded items that are required and right quantity > Develop children in cost conscious on every thing, nothing comes free, every thing costs money, energy and time Very soon we will be short of skilled Labour for all segments . Beware !! Going to start writing on such things, my observation today and learning curve from carpenter. Sharing ,may be useful .
